In the event that you came to this page because you have a dollar bill imprinted with my shortcut address “www.ez9.biz”, then you may think that I tag all of my bills with my address including the collectable ones. That is not the case. I tag only the common bills that I spend into circulation. Any who may be concerned about the propriety of writing on dollar bills, please note this excerpt from the Bureau of Engraving

Defacement of Currency

Defacement of currency is a violation of Title 18, Section 333 of the United States Code. Under this provision, currency defacement is generally defined as follows: Whoever mutilates, cuts, disfigures, perforates, unites or cements together, or does any other thing to any bank bill, draft, note, or other evidence of debt issued by any national banking association, Federal Reserve Bank, or Federal Reserve System, with intent to render such item(s) unfit to be reissued, shall be fined not more than $100 or imprisoned not more than six months, or both.

I hope that my added italics helps you to see that writing on a bill in the margins or on “white space” does not make a bill "unfit to be reissued". I have found that a fine point permanent marker works well for “tagging” of bills.

My underlining above shows that all extant “dollars” are nothing more than debt markers or IOU’s. How sad for us.

My selection of collector quality two-dollar bills are preserved in plastic for sale. Since their value will fluctuate (increase one would hope) over time the cost of receiving one of my two-dollar bills will be face value + intrinsic value + secure transfer fee. Please feel free to contact me about the sale of my two-dollar bill collection.
