YeHVaH
"I AM YeHVaH THE MIGHTY ONE OF YISRAEL FROM EVERLASTING EVEN TO EVERLASTING"
(Genesis 4:26. Exodus 3:14. 1 Chronicles 16:36)
YESHUWA'
(Pronounced: Yeh-shoo-ah)
"You will call his name Yeshuwa' because He will save My people from their sins"
(Matthew 1:21)
"The next day Yochanan seeth Yeshuwa' coming towards him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of YeHVaH Elohiym, who taketh away the sin of the world".
"This Man is He of whom I said, After me is coming a Man who became preferred over me because he existed before me".
YOCHANaN THE BAPTIZER
(Mattityahu 3:1)
THE FULFILLMENT OF PROPHECY
The coming of Yochanan the Baptizer, of blessed memory, was prophesied through The Law and The Prophets.
Yeshuwa' HaMashiyach declared:
"For all the prophets and the law spoke concerning Yochanan"
"If you wish to receive it, he is Eliyahu who is going to come".
"He who has ears to hear, let him hear".
(Matthew 11:13,14,15)
The Prophet Isaiah prophesied:
"Hark! one is calling: 'Prepare the Way of YeHVaH in the wilderness;
Make plain in the desert a Highway for our Mighty One'".
(Isaiah 40:3)
The Prophet Malachi prophesied:
"Behold, I am going to send My messenger, and he will prepare the Way before him. And the Adon, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple; even the messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight, behold, He is coming," says YeHVaH of hosts".
(Malachi 3:1)
"Behold, I am going to send you Eliyahu the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of YeHVaH. He will restore the heart of the fathers to their children and the heart of the children to their fathers, so that I will not come and smite the land with a curse."
(Malachi 4:5,6. Hebrew version Malachi 3:24)
NO MAN, BEGOTTEN OF A WOMAN, GREATER THAN YOCHANAN THE BAPTIZER
"It came to pass as they were going that Yeshuwa' began to speak to the crowds about Yochanan: "You went out into the wilderness to see what? A reed cast about by the wind"?
"Or what did you go out to see? Do you think that Yochanan was a man clothed in noble garments? Behold those who wear noble garments are in kings houses".
"If so, what did you go out to see, a prophet? Truly I say to you that this one is greater than a prophet".
"This is he about whom it is written: 'Behold I am going to send my messenger and he will prepare the Way before him'"
"Again Yeshuwa'said to his disciples: 'Truly I say to you, among all those begotten of women none has arisen greater than Yochanan the Baptizer'".
"From his days until now 'The Kingdom of heaven' has been preached and senseless persons have been tearing it to pieces".
"For all the prophets and the law spoke concerning Yochanan"
"If you wish to receive it, he is Eliyahu who is going to come".
"He who has ears to hear, let him hear".
"Again Yeshuwa' said: 'I will liken this generation to children who sit in the market place calling to one another,'"
"saying: 'We sang to you and you did not dance; we wailed for you and you did not weep'".
"Because Yochanan came neither eating nor drinking and they say concerning him:'He is possessed of demons'".
"But the Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say concerning him: 'He is a glutton, a drunkard, and a friend to tax violent men and sinners. So fools judge the wise".
(Matthew 11:7-19)
IMPORTANT NOTE
The words "Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he" found in Christian versions of Matthew 11:11 were NOT spoken by Yeshuwa'. These words were added by Pauline christ-ian popes and clergy not only to DENY the blessed words of Yeshuwa' HaMashiyach but also in the vain attempt to show that 'Paul' "the least" (from the Latin word 'paulus' meaning 'little') was "greater than he (Yochanan the Baptizer)".
*****
Yeshuwa' Mashiyach; who "became flesh" (John 1:14) in the womb of the virgin Miriam; WAS NOT BEGOTTEN OF A WOMAN but was "begotten of YeHVaH Elohiym...the first of His works of old" [John 3:16. Proverbs 8:22]

His Manifestation to Yisrael
In Matthew Chapter Three we are told of the manifestation of Yochanan the Baptizer to Yisrael.
"In those days came Yochanan the Baptizer preaching in the wilderness of Yehudah".
"He said: 'Turn in repentance, for the Kingdom of heaven is near'".
"To fulfil what was written by Isaiah the prophet: 'Listen! a voice of one calling: 'Prepare ye in the wilderness the Way of YeHVaH, make plain in the desert a Highway for our Elohiym'".
"Behold Yochanan was clothed with the hair of camels and black leather girded his loins and his food was locust and the honey of the forest".
"Then they came out to him from Yerushalem, from all Yehudah, and from all the kingdom round about the Yarden",
"and at that time were confessing their sins and were baptised by Yochanan in the Yarden because of his word".
"He saw that many of the Pharisees and the Sadducees came to his baptism and he said to them: 'Offspring of serpents, who taught you to flee from the wrath to come from The Mighty One'"?.
"Produce the fruit of perfect repentance".
"Do not say in your heart: 'Abraham is our father'. Truly I say to you that The Mighty One is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones".
"Already the axe has reached the root of the tree; the one which does not produce good fruit will be cut down and burned in the fire". The crowds asked him: 'If so what shall we do'? Yochanan answered them: "He who has two shirts let him give one to him who has none". So the people came to be baptised. Many asked him: 'What shall we do'? And he answered them: "Be anxious for no man and do not chastise them, and be pleased with your lot". And all the people were thinking and reckoning in their circumcised heart: 'Yochanan is HaMashiyach'.
Yochanan answered all of them: "Behold I truly baptize you in the days of repentance, but another comes mightier than I, the thong of whose sandal I am not worthy to unfasten. He will baptize you with the fiery spirit of The Holy One".
"His winnowing fork is in his hand to fan his threshing floor and he will gather the grain into his granary and the straw he will burn with fire which is not quenched" (Matthew 3:1-12).
"because Yochanan came to you in the Way of righteousness and you did not believe him. But violent men and sinners believed him and you saw it and did not turn in repentance. Also afterward you did not repent to believe him. To the one who has ears to hear let him hear in disgrace" (Matthew 21:32)
YOCHANAN THE BAPTIZER IS ELIYAHU
(Eliyahu means "The strong one of YeHVaH")
"His disciples asked him (Yeshuwa') saying: 'Why do the scribes say that Eliyahu will come first?
"He answered them and said: 'Indeed Eliyahu will come and will restore to repentance all the world'".
"I say to you, he has already come, they did not know him, and they did to him according to their desire. So they will do to the Son of Man".
"Then the disciples understood that regarding Yochanan the Baptizer he was saying this".
(Matthew 17:10-13)
Yochanan the Baptizer "Turned the heart of the fathers to the children and the heart of the children to their fathers" (Malachi 4:5,6).
We are told by ruach HaKodesh (the spirit of The Holy One) that Yochanan The Baptizer had a two-fold purpose. The first purpose was to prepare the "children of Yisrael" for their Messiah. The second purpose was to "manifest" or introduce HaMashiyach to the prepared "children of Yisrael".
The prophet Malachi, of blessed memory, declared that the coming Yochanan the Baptizer would "turn the heart of the fathers to the children and the heart of the children to their fathers..." (Malachi 4:5,6).
The "fathers" referred to are "the fathers, Abraham, Yitzhak and Yakob". YeHVaH Elohiym, Who is The Only True Elohiym, revealed to Mosheh that Abraham, Yitzhak and Yakob are "the fathers of the children of Yisrael" when He declared to Moshe: "And Elohiym said moreover unto Mosheh: 'Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Yisrael: 'YeHVaH, The Mighty One of your fathers, The Mighty One of Abraham, The Mighty One of Yitzhak, and The Mighty One of Yaakob, hath sent me unto you; this is My Name for ever, and this is My memorial unto all generations" (Exodus 3:15).
In Exodus 3:15 are revealed both "your fathers, Abraham, Yitzhak and Yaakob" and "the children of Yisrael" referred to in Malachi 3:25.
Yochanon the Baptizer "turned the heart of the fathers (Abraham, Yitzhak, Yaakob) to "the children of Yisrael" by first "turning their heart" (1 Chronicles 29:18) to "YeHVaH Elohiym" the "Mighty One of their fathers".
Yochanan the Baptizer urged "the children of Yisrael" to repent of their idols and turn to YeHVaH Elohiym (Exodus 9:30. 2 Chronicles 20:33), Who is The Mighty One of their fathers Abraham, Yitzhak and Yakob and by urging them to "Repent" and obey the commandments of YeHVaH Elohiym: "He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise...exact no more than is your due...do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages" (Isaiah 58:6,7. Exodus 20:16. Matthew 3:1-10. Luke 3:11-14).
Those who brought forth fruits of repentance were baptized by Yochanan in the waters of The river Yarden and were prepared to be introduced by him to their King and Mashiyach, Yeshuwa' of Naatsaret.
YOCHANAN THE BAPTIZER HERALD OF THE MESSIAH
GOSPEL ACCORDING TO MATTHEW
"In those days came Yochanan the Baptizer preaching in the wilderness of Yehudah".
"He said: 'Turn in repentance, for the Kingdom of heaven is near'".
"To fulfil what was written by Isaiah the prophet: "Listen! a voice of one calling: 'Prepare ye in the wilderness the Way of YeHVaH, make plain in the desert a Highway for our Elohiym'".
(Matthew 3:1-3)
GOSPEL ACCORDING TO MARK
"Yochanan the Baptizer appeared in the wilderness preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins".
"And all the country of Yudea was going out to him, and all the people of Yerushalem; and they were being baptized by him in the Yarden River, confessing their sins.
"Yochanan was clothed with camel's hair and wore a leather belt around his waist, and his diet was locusts and wild honey".
"And he was preaching, and saying, 'After me One is coming who is mightier than I, and I am not fit to stoop down and untie the thong of His sandals'".
"I baptized you with water; but He will baptize you with the spirit of The Holy One."
(Mark 1:4-8)
Gospel according to Yochanon
"And this is the witness of Yochanan, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou"?
"And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed I am not HaMashiyach".
"And they asked him, What then? Art thou Eliyahu? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No".
"They said therefore unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What do you say concerning yourself?"
"He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the Way of YeHVaH, as said the prophet Isaiah".
"And they which were sent were of the Pharisees".
"And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not HaMashiyach, nor Eliyahu, nor the Prophet?"
"Yochanan answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not";
"He it is, who coming after me became preferred over me, the thong of his sandal I am not worthy to loosen".
"These things were done in Bethabarah beyond the Yarden, where Yochanan was baptizing".
"The next day Yochanan seeth Yeshuwa' coming towards him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of YEHVAH Elohiym, who taketh away the sin of the world".
"This Man is He of whom I said, After me is coming a Man who became preferred over me because he existed before me".
"And I did not know him: but that he should be made manifest to Yisrael, therefore I came baptizing with water".
"And Yochanan bore witness saying, I have seen the spirit coming down from heaven in the likeness of a dove, and remained on the Man".
"And I did not know Him: but He that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me: 'Upon whomever thou shalt see the spirit coming down and remaining on that Man, this Man is the one baptizing in the spirit of The Holy One".
"And I have seen, and have witnessed that this Man is the Son of YeHVaH Elohiym".
"Again the next day Yochanan stood, with two of his disciples";
"And looking upon Yeshuwa' walking, he saith, Behold the Lamb of YeHVaH Elohiym!"
"And the two disciples heard him speaking, and they followed Yeshuwa'".
(Yochanan 1:19-37)
"You have sent to Yochanan, and he has testified to the truth.
"But the testimony which I receive is not from man, but I say these things so that you may be saved".
"He was the lamp that was burning and was shining and you were willing to rejoice for a while in his light".
(Yochanan 5:33-35)
YOCHANAN CALLED ***THE PHARISEES AND SADDUCEES*** 'OFFSPRING OF SERPENTS'
"He saw that many of the Pharisees and the Sadducees came to his baptism and he said to them: 'Offspring of serpents, who taught you to flee from the wrath to come from The Mighty One'"?.
"Produce the fruit of perfect repentance".
"Do not say in your heart: 'Abraham is our father'. Truly I say to you that The Mighty One is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones".
"Already the axe has reached the root of the tree; the one which does not produce good fruit will be cut down and burned in the fire".
(Matthew 3:7-10).
The Pharisees and the Sadducees [not the ordinary Jews] boasted "Abraham is our father" but Yochanan pointed out to them that mere physical descendants of Abraham did not qualify them to escape "from the wrath to come from The Most High". What was required was for them to "repent" and have the same spiritual "heart" as Abraham, who looked forward eagerly to the coming Mashiyach which was the "heart of the children of Israel" who acknowledged their need of salvation "confessing their sins and being baptized by Yochanan in the river Yarden, because of his word"
(Matthew 3:6).
"Present day "Hypocrites"
Present day descendants of the Pharisees and the Sadducees who may boast that 'Abraham is our father' (Yochanon 3:9) are required to "repent" and have the same spiritual "heart" as Abraham and the Prophet Daniel who eagerly looked forward to the blessed day when "...The Mighty One of heaven will set up a kingdom which will never be destroyed, and that kingdom will not be left for another people; it will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, but it will itself endure forever" (Daniel 2:44) and acknowledged their need of salvation through the promised "Lamb" (Genesis 22:8. Daniel 9:26) and which was fulfilled 2,000 years ago in the Person of Yeshuwa' Mashiyach, blessed is His name.
Ungodly and unbelieving Jews, Christians and Muslims; who do not "receive Yeshuwa' Mashiyach" (Yochanan 1:12); "love death" (Proverbs 8:36) and "will die in their sins" (Yochanan 8:24).
The dreadful "woes" pronounced by YeHVaH Elohiym through the lips of His beloved son Yeshuwa' Mashiyach are no less directed at "the (self-confessed) ungodly men" (Jude 1:4) and unrepentant "hypocrites" of today who, not only "love death" (Proverbs 8:36) and "boast in the cross" (Galations 6:14) or that 'Abraham is our father' (Matthew 3:9) as they "close up the Kingdom of heaven before men" (Matthew 22:13):
"Woe to you Pharisees and scribes, hypocrites because you close up the Kingdom of heaven before men; you yourselves do not enter and those who wish to enter you do not permit to enter". (Matthew 23:13);
