What a joy it is to address you in this new age method, it seems a bit scary too, since the prophet Daniel said that "man’s advance will be his destruction as well"; but I am very confident in the words of our Holy Father "BE NOT AFRAID".

This summer has been a very joyful one around the parish. With the help of my brother Knights, the youth of our community have benefited in a tremendous way. We held a softball league that more than 53 young ladies and gentlemen participated. This involved the St. Anthony and St Boniface youth as well. At the moment we are enjoying a 3-men B-ball league that involves the youth of our parish and we have also invited friends of our youth to participate. This is a very great opportunity for all of us to share our Catholic faith with them, their parents, and friends. It is a remarkable activity since we have among us kids that have been confirmed (and you know that old saying…. "want to get rid of them?…… confirm ‘em").

By the end of August, we will hold a free throw contest, we will conducted for two reasons, one is to prepare ourselves for the yearly event sponsored by K of C , and secondly to provide our youth with alternatives to enjoy their summer IN THEIR CHURCH. Your presence and support are essential to these events, as we need to build a young community to form our squire’s chapter form, which we will build tomorrows K of C members. But most important for now is to show our youth that there are people in their church that care for them and are concern with their issues. Come on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm and be prepared to share your faith and have lots of fun as well. See picture of softball team
