Xcaret is Great Fun!
Xcaret is not one of the included tours, but it is a very good one to go on. To get into the park it is about $90.00. You do get a discount from the Palace Resorts. If you want to swim with the dolphins and get the ultimate, it costs about $115.00. They do have two other levels of swimming with the dolphins that are less expensive, but we realy liked the $115.00 one because you get a longer time with them and they have the dolphins jump over you and take you on a great ride.
This is me in the dolphin pool up close with a dolphin.

Another fun thing to do there is float down the underground River. Xcaret, which means tiny inlet in Mayan, is located on the Caribbean coast of Quintana Roo, Mexico, 72 kilometers South of Cancun, just across the sea from Cozumel Island. The site of ancient magic and mystery has long attracted tourists for its crystal clear waters, where one can swim and snorkel amongst hundreds of bright multicolored tropical fish and explore the strange coral formations of its rugged limestone shore. But more recently, Xcaret is becoming well known for its newly uncovered Mayan ruins, which constitute one of the largest prehispanic settlements that have been found along the Eastern coast of the Yucatan peninsula.Today, Xcaret is an activity packed eco-archaeological park of incomparable beauty set amidst the infinite natural wonders of the jungle with the Caribbean Sea for a view. One of the park's more interesting attractions is the trip along the underground river. It begins at a sacred ancestral cenote and continues its 550 meter journey through caverns where one can observe many thousand year old conch & coral impressions, while enjoying the fresh, crystalline waters that emerge from the earth's depths.
